Arrival to Tashkent - the capital of Uzbekistan. Transfer to the hotel for accommodation. Rest after a long flight. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Tashkent
An architectural complex "Khazret-Imam" incl. necropolis of imam Abu Bakr Muhammad al-Kaffal Shashi who was one of the first Muslim imams and famous divine and poet (16th c),
"Barak-khan Madrassah" - built by Suyunidj-khan - the first ruler of Uzbek dynasty of Sheibanid's (16th c), "Tillya Sheikh Madrassah" also called "Khasti Imam Mosque" where Osman Quran - the world's oldest is kept (19th c), "Kukeldash Madrassah" ("Foster brother") - was built by Kukeldash - the vizier of Tashkent khans (16th c), Lunch time. After lunch excursion continuation.
Architectural Complex Zangi-Ata- the ensemble has been built on the location of the burial place of sheikh Aj-Hodzha, nicknamed Zengi-Ata, which means "black", living from the end of 12th to first half of 13th century. He was the fifth murid of Sufi Hodzha Ahmad Jassavi, who was considered the spiritual head of all the Turkic tribes of Central Asia and Kazakhstan, and the pupil of mystic poet Suleyman Khaki - aka Bakyrgani. As the legend says, the beginning of the construction of this ensemble was initiated by Amir Temur. He also constructed the mausoleums of the famous saint Zengi-ata and his wife Ambarbibi.
Day 03 : Tashkent - Bukhara
After early breakfast departure to Bukhara by flight. Arrival to Bukhara. Accommodation at the hotel.
A full day city sightseeing tour of Saint Bukhara (2500 year old):
Mausoleum of the Samanids - the most ancient of Central Asia brick building, a masterpiece of world architecture (9-10th c), Mausoleum Chashma Ayub that belongs to esteemed "places of trace" left by saint persons (14th c). The legend says that once the bible prophet Job (Ayub) visited this place.
"Bolo-Houz Mosque" - the only monument of medieval Bukhara (beg. of 20th c), Ark - the center of Bukhara statehood (4th c BC), silk carpet shops, Complex "Poi Kalon" ("Beneath the Great"): "Kalyan Minaret" - the main symbol of sacred Bukhara that symbolized authority and power of spiritual governors. (12th c), "Kalyan Mosque"- its area of 130x80 m surpasses Bibi-Khanym mosque in Samarkand, Lunch time. After lunch excursion continuation "Miri Arab Madrassah" - active madrassah is one of the most esteemed spiritual Islamic universities (16th c), "Taki Zargaron" - the dome of jewelers (15-16th cc), "Ulugbeg Madrassah" - one of the 3 madrassah constructed by grandson of Tamerlan - Ulugbeg (15th c), "Abdulaziz-khan Madrassah" - traditional madrassah with 2 floors of hudjras and mosque on the central axis ( mid. of 17th c), Tim of Abdullah-Khan madrassah (1588-1590), atlas shops, "Magoki-Attari Mosque" - the most ancient mosque of Bukhara (12th c) is considered a masterpiece of Bukhara architecture, "Khanaka and madrassah of Nadir Divan-Beghi" - a massive rectangular structure that was a place for staying and meditation of Sufis (17th c), "Kukeldash Madrassah" (16th c) - one of the biggest Bukhara madrassah, "Lyabi-Haus" ensemble - the largest artificial reservoir of medieval Bukhara - is very popular among tourists (14-17th cc), "Chor Minor" ("Four minarets") is an unusual madrassah built by Caliph Niyazkul (18th c).Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 : Bukhara Shakhrisabz - Samarkand
After breakfast transfer to Samarkand via Shakhrisabz - the unique monument of town-planning and architecture. On the rout visit: Necropolis of Sheikh Bahaaddin Naqshbandi (16thc.)- the sheikh Naqshbandi received initiation from Khodja Gijduvani who appeared in his dream and ordered to become a pupil of Amir Kulal. Another his teacher was Sultan Halil, Sufi and governor from the Ching-gisids. Sufi community of Naqshband denied ascetics and was active in economy. The words "Our way to the God is communication, but not hermitry" belong to Naqshbandi. Sheikh became famous in the Islamic world when did three-year hadj.
The Jubariy Sheikhs' family cemetery Chor-Bakr (1563) - a country necropolis of sheikhs from Djuibar seyids. Djuibar seyids occupied the major state posts in Bukhara since the Samanids. Necropolis formed around the tomb of Abu-Baqr Sa'ad, the founder of the dynasty. It makes the oldest part of necropolis. Muhammad Islam was a successor of Mahdum-i Azam Kasani who headed "naqsh-bandyyah".

Shahrisabz tour: Ruins of "Ak-Saray Palace" - Tamerlan's summer residence that shocked the imagination of contemporaries (14-15th c), "Jakhangir Mausoleum"- mausoleum of Tamerlan's eldest and favorite son (14th c), complex "Dor-ut Saodat."Hazrati Imam Mosque" - the multi-stage mosque with domical hall with decorated ayvans (14th c), "Gumbazi-Seiidan" - mausoleum of possible offspring's of Temur, "Kok Gumbaz Mosque" ("Blue dome") - was built by Ulugbek on behalf of his farther Shahrukh (15th c).The Golden Road to the historical town of Samarkand - a crossroad of the world's cultures, one of the most ancient cities in the world. Arrive to Samarkand. Accommodation in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 : Samarkand
After breakfast city tour : "Guri Emir Mausoleum" - Tamerlan's tomb (14-15th c) that was build for Timur’s grandson Muhammad-Sultan and tombs of three other Temurids - sons of Temur - Miranshah and Shahrukh and his grandson Ulugbek, Registan Square- the major square of Samarkand: "Ulugbeg Madrassah" - Sheikh Khodja Akhrar and poet Djami were among outstanding graduates of the madrassah (15th c), "Sher-Dor Madrassah" ("Having tigers") (17th c.), Tillya-Kari Madrassah ("Coated by gold") - the richest gilding on the dome, walls and mihrab surpassed all famous buildings in Central Asia (17th c). Lunch time. After lunch excursion continuation Mosque named after Hazret-Hyzr - an Islamic saint and eternal wanderer. He was esteemed as giving richness and good luck in far voyages and trade (19th c), Cathedral mosque "Bibi-Khanym" that was named after the oldest wife of Tamerlan (14th c), An architectural complex "Shahi-Zinda" ("Alive king") - necropolis on the slope of the Afrosiab hill is connected with Kusam ibn Abbas - the cousin of Prophet Muhammad (Siab bazaar). Day 06 : Smarkand - Tashkent
After breakfast departure to Tashkent.Imam Al Bukhari complex- outstanding Sunni theologian Imam Al Bukhari (died 870) had a phenomenal memory and memorized a hundred thousand hadiths - true accounts of things Prophet Muhammad once said or did. His work resulted in a summation of hadiths - the "Al-Djami as-Sahih", which had been canonized by the 10th century as a major hadith anthology in the Sunni tradition. Lunch time. After lunch excursion continuation. Mausoleum of Khodja Daniyar- According to legend, Khodja Daniyar was a companion of Kusam ibn Abbas, who was believed to be a relative of the Prophet and one of the first Islamic preachers in Central Asia. Other legends associate Khodja Daniyar with the Koranic and Biblical prophet Daniyar (Daniel) whose remains were brought here by Amir Temur. The biggest observatory of 15th c. built by Ulugbeg.
